E.H. is a single mother raising four children on a paycheck she earns at a fast-food restaurant.

She is separated from her husband, who is in prison, and is raising their three sons and a daughter on her own.

E.H.'s husband was on drugs, abusive and a bad influence on the children.

E.H. and her children live in one bedroom of her brother's home. She gives a portion of each paycheck to her brother to help pay for bills, and the money that is left is not enough.

"We don't have much. We're sleeping on one of those air mattresses," she said.

She hopes for a nice Christmas for her family, but knows she cannot afford it.

Her two older sons, ages 14 and 13, have each asked for bodyboards this Christmas. Her 9-year-old daughter likes clothes and would like a few new outfits for school.

E.H.'s 7-year-old said he would like some kind of electronic game.

She is asking for a bunk bed for her children.

Christmas Fund donations are used for families who need help through the holidays. Any money remaining after the holidays will be used to help those in need throughout the year.
