DAVID "RONA" KAAEKUAHIWI, 72, of Wai'anae, died Oct. 28, 2005. Born in Honolulu. Founder and former head coach of Na Keiki O Ka Mo'i Canoe Club. Survived by wife, Shannon; sons, Bodie, Danon and Grandy "Dude"; daughters, Davidean "Davi" Taylor, Holly, Laurie "Kaleo" Verma, Lisa and Nalei; sister, Janice "Nani" Holokahi; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandson.
