RICHARD S. JONES, 61, of Homestead, Fla., formerly of Hawai'i, died Oct. 28, 2005. Former federal grants administrator for the state Department of Land and Natural Resources, State Parks Division; retired Miami-Dade (Florida) Park System administrator; and Kendall Community College teacher. Survived by son, Ryan; brothers, Honolulu journalist Bob, and Ken and Tom; sister, Linda Karney. Burial in Brownhelm Cemetery, Vermilion, Ohio. Arrangements by Riddle Funeral Home, Vermilion.

DOROTHY HARUKO KOHAGURA, 87, of Honolulu, died Nov. 16, 2005. Born in Honoka'a, Hawai'i. Retired Times Super Market Ltd. cashier.
