Flu shots available at clinics
By Catherine E. Toth
Flu season is coming up.
And HMSA, Hawai'i's largest heath insurer, is sponsoring community flu shot clinics through November.
HMSA members can get their flu shots free at these clinics. Non-members pay $25.
(Other providers may be giving flu shots at the same locations but at a cost.)
Flu shots are recommended for those older than 65, residents of long-term-care facilities, workers providing direct care to patients, pregnant women, children six to 23 months, caregivers of children less than six months old and those with chronic conditions.
You must be 18 or older.
