Expect gas cap to be near $2.60

Hawai'i's wholesale gasoline price cap is expected to rise about 16 cents to nearly $2.60 a gallon for regular on O'ahu on Monday, according to Advertiser calculations.
It would be the third straight hike in the cap, after increases of 13 cents this week and 14 cents last week. The wholesale cap excludes taxes and a retail dealer markup.
OCEANIC OFFERS CALLER ID ON TV
Oceanic Time Warner Cable said yesterday it is launching a service called "Caller ID on TV" that allows digital phone and cable subscribers on O'ahu and Kaua'i to see a caller's name and number in a box on the upper-left corner of their television screen.
The service is expected to be expanded to the Big Island and Maui this year. It provides a log that stores the last 10 callers' names and numbers, and dates and times.
SCHULER PARENT'S PROFIT UP 20%
DALLAS — D.R. Horton Inc., the nation's largest homebuilder, said its second-quarter profit grew 20 percent and it still expects to close on nearly 58,000 homes this year.
Earnings for the quarter ended March 31 climbed to $352.8 million, or $1.11 per share, from $294 million, or 92 cents per share, a year earlier. Revenue rose 25 percent to $3.6 billion from $2.9 billion, with home closings up 19 percent.

BOUNCED CHECK FEE NEAR RECORD
NEW YORK — The cost of overdrawing your checking account has gone up again.
Bankrate.com said a survey of banks and thrifts in the nation's 25 largest markets found that the average fee for a bounced check rose to $27.04 this spring from $26.90 last fall. That's the second highest on record, behind $27.13 a year ago.
The survey also found that ATM surcharges have risen to $1.60 from $1.54.
