TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"33rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards," 7 p.m., ABC. A year ago, Kelly Monaco was just another soap actress. Then came her "Dancing With the Stars" victory. Now she's booming. Tonight, Monaco co-hosts with Tom Bergeron. She's also up for best actress in a soap for her "General Hospital" duties. That's the category that drew interest when Susan Lucci kept losing. Monaco faces Kim Zimmer and Beth Ehlers of "Guiding Light," Bobbie Eakes of "All My Children" and Susan Flannery of "The Bold and the Beautiful." The best-actor category has Anthony Geary and Maurice Benard of "General Hospital," Robert Newman and Ron Raines of "Guiding Light" and Thorsten Kaye of "All My Children." Meredith Vieira, now heading toward "Today," is nominated in four categories. Her "View" crew is up for best talk show hosting. They face Ellen DeGeneres, Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa and the "Soap Talk" duo of Ty Treadway and Lisa Rinna. And Vieira's "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" work faces off with Alex Trebek of "Jeopardy" for best game show host. "The View" is also nominated for outstanding talk show, and "Millionaire" for best game and audience participation show.

"Biography," 5, 9 p.m., A&E. Dolly Parton has had one of the most colorful careers in show business, going from rural poverty to praise for her brilliant songwriting. Here's a profile.

"Ghost Whisperer," 7 p.m., CBS. Melinda is getting important messages but she can't unscramble them.

"Austin Powers in Goldmember" (2002), 7 p.m., Fox. This time Mike Myers' spy character is in 1975, alongside a beauty played by Beyonce Knowles. Some of the regulars are back, including Seth Green, Robert Wagner, Michael York and (as the delightful Mini-Me) Verne Troyer.

"Close to Home," 8 p.m., CBS. A woman is killed on the eve of her wedding. Clues to her hidden past emerge.

"Las Vegas," 8 p.m., NBC. Delinda is getting serious about the doctor her mom set her up with. Meanwhile, her parents (James Caan and Cheryl Ladd) go to a chaotic retreat for couples. At the casino, Danny and Mike are suspicious of a guy making million-dollar bets.

"Conviction," 9 p.m., NBC. Finn and Potter are sent to an acting class so they'll do a better job in the courtroom. Meanwhile, Rossi deals with her dysfunctional family. Peluso has a tough time with a cop shooting case. Desmond and Steele have trouble going for a murder conviction after a teen "choking game."

"Numb3rs," 9 p.m., CBS. Someone grabs a cop's gun and starts a shooting spree at FBI headquarters. The incident haunts Charlie, who was almost hit.
