TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"So You Think You Can Dance," 8 p.m., Fox. Things are getting serious now, with only six dancers left. They'll dance tonight then be trimmed to four on Thursday. That sets up the two-part finale, Aug. 9 and 16.

"Nightmares & Dreamscapes: From the Stories of Stephen King" finale, 6 and 7 p.m., TNT This cable series didn't catch on in the ratings, but give it credit for a strong effort. Eight short stories were filmed with a lush, movie-quality. Tonight's first hour is "Autopsy Room Four," which offers hints of an old Alfred Hitchcock TV episode. Richard Thomas is a businessman who is bitten by a snake and paralyzed. Unable to communicate, he witnesses his own autopsy. The second hour — and the final one of the series — is "You Know They Got a Hell of a Band." Steven Weber and Kim Delaney play a couple who make a wrong turn and end up in Rock and Roll Heaven, Oregon. The music's great, but you aren't allowed to leave.

OF NOTE

"The Pilot's Wife" (2002), 4 p.m., Lifetime. Christine Lahti is terrific as someone who learns her husband had died in a crash — then starts to learn much more about him.

"America's Got Talent," 7 p.m., NBC. Here's the fourth round of the semi-finals. Again, the judges will pick one person for the finals; then viewers have their say. On Thursday, we'll learn who is the other person to advance.

"30 Days," 7 p.m., FX. Like many Americans, Chris Jobin had a comfortable, middle-income job. He was a computer programmer for Morgan Stanley's commodities desk. Three years ago, he was sent to India to train people in his work. Once they'd learned, he lost his job. Now this documentary has him spending a month in Bangalore, India, living and working with a family that holds outsourced, telemarketing jobs.

"Lost," 8 p.m., ABC. This rerun has Rousseau taking Sayid to see her captive. The guy (Henry) turns out to be a mystery — like many people on this island.

"Primetime: Medical Mysteries," 9 p.m., ABC. The second show in this documentary series includes a look at a condition with some similarities to fictional werewolves. People avoid daylight and grow excessive body hair.

"CSI: NY," 9 p.m., CBS. Stella (Melina Kanakaredes) wakes up soaked in blood. A guy is dead and she can't remember what happened.
