TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"Celebrity Duets" debut, 7 p.m., Fox. On one side are terrific singers — Macy Gray, Lee Ann Womack, Brian McKnight, Clint Black and more. Competing on the other side are eight people not known for singing. Don't expect novices, though. Four contestants have been in Broadway musicals — Alfonso Ribeiro, Lucy Lawless, Lea Thompson and Jai Rodriguez of "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy." Others have dabbled with rock; they are actors Cheech Marin and Hal Sparks, wrestler Chris Jericho and gymnast Carly Patterson.

OF NOTE

"Rock Star: Supernova," 8 p.m., CBS. Things are getting serious now with the finale two weeks away on Sept. 12-13.

"Million Dollar Listing" debut, 10 p.m., Bravo. The stakes are high in a Hollywood real-estate office. In this six-week reality series, we see people at two real-estate agencies battle for big commissions.

"According to Jim," 7 p.m., ABC. Many of these four reruns start with Jim's wife. In the first, she teaches him a lesson by not speaking to him for three days.

"P.O.V.: Waging a Living," 10 p.m., PBS. What is it like to get by on a small income while paying big-city expenses? This moving documentary follows a security guard (who makes $12 an hour) paying child support; a nursing assistant (making $11 an hour) supporting three children and two grandchildren; a juvenile-detention counselor (making $8.25 an hour) with five kids; and a waitress ($2.18 an hour plus tips) with three kids.

"The Final Report: Osama's Escape," 7 p.m., National Geographic Channel. This documentary looks at how Osama bin Laden managed to exit Afghanistan after the 9/11 terror attacks
