D'Shon Cannon scored 19 points and had four assists and five steals to lead Cal State Monterey Bay to an 80-77 men's basketball victory over Chaminade in the Ron Logsdon Memorial Classic at Rohnert, Park, Calif.

Monterey Bay is 2-2. Chaminade is 3-4.

Chaminade was led by Zack Whiting's triple-double (16 points, 15 assists and 13 rebounds). Marko Kolaric scored 18 points.

The Otters hit 4 of 6 free throws in the final 30 seconds to seal the victory.

Chaminade's James Francisco's 3-point attempt missed with 2 seconds remaining.

BYUH TOPS CHAMINADE

Latoya Wily scored 25 points, Artevia Wily 24 and Kayla Burningham 21 to lead Brigham Young-Hawai'i to a 87-82 victory over Chaminade last night at Cannon Activities Center.

BYUH is 2-5, Chaminade 1-4.
