Visiting St. Francis rallies for 2-1 victory

Kalyn Lee hit a one-out, two-run double to right field in the top of the seventh inning to help visiting St. Francis rally past Kamehameha, 2-1, in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu game yesterday.

St. Francis (7-1) took sole possession of first place with the victory.

The Warriors (5-3) scored first on a throwing error in the bottom fifth that allowed Kellie Camida to score.

Shannon Lum and Ululani Reyes each hit one-out singles in the seventh and scored from third and second, respectively, on Lee's double.

Troubadours' starter Brittney Akana struck out the final batter with the tying run on first.

Shari Shobu tossed a four-hitter and the Owls (3-5) beat the Raiders (6-2) at Ala Wai field. MPI sent 11 batters to the plate in the five-run second inning. Corrie Murashige and Miya Quinn had two RBIs each.
