A monk seal tank's worth of fun. Waikiki Aquarium programs and events continue today with "Home for a Hermit Crab." Kids ages 4 to 6 get to learn about the crustaceans via stories, creating art and close-up views of the undersea mobile homes. Parents get to tag along. From 3 to 4:30 p.m.; entry is $16 for each adult/child team ($12 for aquarium members). Call 923-9741 or visit www.waquarium.org.

FINAL WORD
"It's unnatural to watch yourself on screen. It's awkward-making and induces a wild state of self-consciousness and self-hatred."
