CARY, N.C. — Hawai'i's Natasha Kai was chosen for the U.S. women's soccer squad that will play Canada on Sunday.
Kai, a Kahuku High and University of Hawai'i alum, has scored four goals in seven appearances with the national team, including one on Sunday in a 5-0 victory over Ireland.
Veteran midfielder Aly Wagner was among those who made the 18-player roster. On Sunday, she could become the 18th woman to play 100 or more times for the United States.
Both teams are preparing for the regional qualifying tournament for the 2007 Women's World Cup.
