TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"Windfall," 8 and 9 p.m., NBC. If you missed last week's excellent debut, catch the rerun at 8 p.m. Emotions soar when 20 people win almost $20 million apiece in the lottery. Afterward, catch the second episode as complications grow. Nina and Peter (Lana Parrilla, Luke Perry) and Beth and Cameron (Sarah Wynter, Jason Gedrick) are married couples, attractive and enviable. Nina and Cameron, however, are drawn to each other. There's tension as Beth and Nina plan a Paris shopping spree. Damien (Jon Foster) is a teen who won and subsequently married a Russian woman to become legally emancipated. That complicates things for Frankie (Alice Greczyn), whose mom — in the middle of a messy divorce — was a winner. Frankie loves Damien from afar. Tonight, she has trouble at his party. Then there are Sean (D.J. Cotrona) and Zoe (Sarah Jane Morris). He's a dangerous guy with a fake name. She's a straight-arrow lawyer. They give "Windfall" a fascinating combination.

OF NOTE

"NBA Finals," 3 p.m., ABC. It's Dallas at Miami, in the fourth game of the best-of-seven championship series.

"Bowling for Columbine" (2002), 4:30 p.m., Bravo. Don't expect a careful, balanced documentary here. Michael Moore is, as always, fiercely opinionated, brilliant and surprisingly funny. This look at the gun culture is sometimes unfair but often compelling. Where else can you see a small-town bank that gives out free guns to new customers?

"Live From Lincoln Center: The Light in the Piazza," 8 p.m., PBS. "Piazza," centering on a 1953 romance, got a 2005 Tony nomination for best musical. It didn't win, but got six other Tonys, including one for Victoria Clark, as a Southern matriarch with a secret, for best actress.

"My Name is Earl," 7 p.m., NBC. Earl tries to make up for stealing gas. Alas, his victim (Adam Goldberg) is an annoying and suicidal guy. One shaky solution is to have him date Joy.

"The Office," 7:30 p.m., NBC. Michael has been reading staffers' e-mails. Also, he shows up uninvited at Jim's barbecue and sings karaoke.

"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," 8 p.m., CBS. A 12-year-old girl has confessed to a murder, but officials have doubts.

"Without a Trace," 9 p.m., CBS. The main case involves a woman with amnesia. Meanwhile, this is the episode in which Jack learns that his dad (Martin Landau) has a major health crisis, with kidney failure.
