Still not sure what to wear to prom? Here's an opportunity to do some (painless, even fun) homework. Macy's will host Sassy and G magazine's Prom Event from 1 to 2:30 p.m. today in the Ala Moana THISIT department. The event repeats from 1 to 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at Pearlridge

Bring gently worn prom dresses or evening dresses (hey, ask your mom and all your aunties, too — vintage dresses, especially from the '70s and '80s, are fabulous) for a donation to Project Princess, a collaborative project of Macy's, the YWCA of O'ahu and Sassy and G magazine. Shoppers who donate a dress will receive a 20 percent discount on a regular-priced dress valued at $78 or more.
