Man stabbed in Waikiki

A 23-year-old man was in critical condition last night at The Queen's Medical Center after being stabbed multiple times just before 4 a.m. yesterday at the corner of Ena Road and Kalakaua Avenue
Police were told the assailant jumped into a cab. Officers caught up with the cab and arrested a 26-year-old Waikiki man on suspicion of attempted murder.
ILLEGAL FISHING ASSETS SEIZED
Officers yesterday seized a barge and floating dock in Kane'ohe Bay as a result of an investigation into illegal commercial fishing activities.
The nine-month investigation conducted by Department of Land and Natural Resources officers, and supported by the Ho-nolulu Police Department, resulted in 13 criminal charges of resources violations to include four counts of sale and possession of undersized Samoan crabs, and one arrest on outstanding warrants.
A search warrant served on the barge in October 2005 by DLNR conservation officers and police revealed many aspects of the illegal commercial fishing operation as well as drug paraphernalia and small amounts of ice and marijuana.
The barge is scheduled to be towed to He'eia-Kea Harbor and demolished.
BROTHER ARRESTED IN ALLEGED THREAT
A 39-year-old Kahuku man was arrested Thursday after he allegedly threatened his 46-year-old brother with a knife.
Police were told that the two men, who live in the same house, had been arguing when the younger man drew a knife and threatened to injure his brother. The younger brother reportedly fled before police arrived but was found later and arrested about 4 p.m. on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening.
