British toaster Pato Banton is back inna me yard — he takes the stage at the Hawaiian Hut at 9 p.m. tonight. The Brummie (that means he's from Birmingham, England) has traded rhymes with Ranking Roger in General Public, and slung words on tour with Sting and UB40, among many others. Since his high-profile '80s days, Banton started a musical program for at-risk youths in his hometown of Birmingham. In 2001 his "Life Is a Miracle" earned a Grammy nomination for best reggae album.

ANIMATED SUPERHERO A WAY TO HELP DRAW IN BLOOD DONATIONS

While most young adults can name the most recent winner of "American Idol" and 41 percent know Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie named their baby Shiloh, only 14 percent know that one blood donation can save three lives, claims the Ad Council.
