Campaign reports updated

U.S. Rep. Ed Case's recent campaign-finance report contained slightly different figures than the Case campaign provided to the news media on Monday.
Case raised $219,487 during the past two months, not the $215,350 initially reported by the campaign. The congressman has collected $627,744 in total for the election, not the $608,800 initially reported.
U.S. Sen. Daniel Akaka's report also contained slightly different figures than what his campaign provided. Akaka raised $350,764 over the past two months, slightly less than his campaign reported to the media because of some donation refunds.
And William Aila Jr., a Democratic candidate for governor, has $12,415 in cash available for the primary, slightly more than the figure he gave to The Advertiser on Wednesday.
The newspaper asks candidates to provide summaries of their campaign-finance reports on the day they are due because there is sometimes a lag between when the reports are filed with the government and when they become publicly available.
