Much ado about birthday bash for Shakespeare

Are you bonkers for The Bard? This is your lucky weekend. A birthday celebration and a play are on the agenda:
Terence Knapp, actor, retired University of Hawai'i theater professor and proponent of all that is Shakespeare, hosts The Bard's Birthday Bash once again (he's been doing it since 1971). It's an evening of monologues, songs and scenes, and it's happening at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow and Monday at The ARTS at Marks Garage. Admission is free.
"As You Like It," Shakespeare's comedy set in the magical Forest of Arden, commands the stage at UH-Manoa's Kennedy Theatre. Showtime is 8 p.m. today and 2 p.m. tomorrow (continuing at 8 p.m. Fridays-Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays, through April 29).
