KAHALA
Drive seeking school supplies

Advertiser Staff

The Hawai'i Kai Jaycees, a community nonprofit group, will team up with Kahala Mall at the annual "School Tools" donation drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 18 inside the mall near Longs Drugs.

Donations will be delivered to Helping Hands Hawai'i, a nonprofit agency that will disperse the school supplies to keiki through the Ready to Learn program.

The drive is necessary because too many keiki start school without the proper school supplies.

The Jaycees also participate annually in such projects as the Hawai'i Foodbank can drive at Koko Marina Shopping Center and the Hawai'i Kai Dog Walk.
