Out today on Monterey Jazz Festival Records are discs with Louis Armstrong's 1958 opening night set at the California fest, Sarah Vaughn performing in 1971, Dizzy Gillespie's 1965 set with his sextet, the 1963 West Coast debut of Miles Davis' quintet and Thelonious Monk's 1964 set with a five-piece group. Proceeds go to Monterey Jazz Festival-supported jazz education programs. Each disc is priced at $14.98.
