The Leilehua High School Band is seeking public support — and it doesn't even have to cost any money.

Hamburger Helper, friend of the casserole-challenged, is holding a nationwide contest to find the most deserving public service projects. One factor in deciding who wins is the amount of support each organization gets on the My Community Helper Internet site.

Leilehua's band needs new uniforms and has been holding car washes and other fundraisers.
