Honolulu Fire Chief Kenneth Silva yesterday announced the promotions of 23 people to captain or Fire Fighter II.

Promoted to the rank of captain were Nathan Alameda, Edward Bruffey, Brian Carvalho, Kenneth Heim, Dale Mosher, Alexander Silva Jr., Frank Supranovich and Cary Yamamoto.

Fifteen others earned promotion to the rank of Fire Fighter II.

They are Timothy Caires, Andrew Cannon, Michael Carter, Peter Comilla III, Steven Granato, Alan Hackbarth, Keoki Kaalele, Kevin Kahale, Stan Kimura, Randall Lindsey, Malcolm Medrano, Carl Nagatori Jr., Herbert Nishii, Cody Racoma and Stanley Yanke.
