KANE'OHE WETLAND PROJECT — Volunteers needed Saturday to help the Sierra Club remove mangrove and other invasive species from wetlands on Marine Corps Base Hawaii to create a habitat for endangered waterbirds. Submit name and contact information by Thursday to Annette Kaohelaulii at 235-5431.
POUHALA MARSH RESTORATION — The Hawai'i Nature Center is restoring Pouhala Marsh in Waipahu. Volunteers are needed to pull pickleweed and mangrove 8:30-11:30 a.m. Dec. 15. CHUN'S REEF CLEANUP — Join Adopt-A-Beach Hawaii and Save The Sea Turtles International at noon Dec. 15 for Chun's Reef Beach highway and coastal cleanup.
