Local hoops teams in event

The Punahou and Kamehameha-Hawai'i girls basketball teams will play in the Nike Tournament of Championships in Chandler, Ariz.
Considered one of the top girls basketball tournaments, there will be 112 teams from 20 states in the event.
Punahou, the state Division I runner-up, is scheduled to compete from Dec. 19 to 22.
Kamehameha-Hawai'i, the Division II state champion, will play from Dec. 27 to 29.
