Water main repaired; traffic should flow today
Advertiser Staff
Repairs on a 24-inch water main on Farrington Highway near Ko Olina were completed yesterday afternoon, and the road was expected to be repaved overnight, in time for morning rush hour today, according to the Board of Water Supply.
Crews were off the road by 3 p.m. yesterday, the BWS said, and emergency water conservation measures are no longer necessary.
The water main broke around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday and resulted in some traffic problems until officials decided to contraflow the available three lanes.
