Apparent drowning off Kahuku

A man who apparently drowned while swimming on the North Shore Friday has been identified as James Cosier, 18, of Hau'ula, the Honolulu Medical Examiner's Office said yesterday.
Cosier was swimming with friends off Kahuku on Friday when he was pulled from the water unconscious at about 5:30 p.m.
He was pronounced dead a short time later.
An autopsy has been scheduled for tomorrow, the Medical Examiner's Office said.
