SUCCESS ADVERTISING

Gina Ogitani has been named account manager for Success Advertising. She was previously an account executive for Ka Nupepa People. Also promoted were Justin naka'ahiki to operations manager and Julius PecsoN, to account executive. Success Advertising is the only advertising agency in Hawai'i that specializes in recruitment advertising. The company sponsors three job fairs annually: Job Quest in January and September and WorkForce in May.

ALOHA UNITED WAY

Richard Ross has been named vice president of major gifts and planned giving for Aloha United Way. Ross has worked in nonprofit leadership roles for 27 years, including 11 years in student services with the University of Hawai'i system. Most recently, Ross was a parent consultant for the Hale Malama program at Catholic Charities of Hawaii, serving medically complex foster care infants. Also promoted was Donna Kooiman, to office assistant. New hires include receptionist Genevieve Beierly and administrative assistant Mahealani Kekauoha.

DELTA CONSTRUCTION

James Malone has been appointed vice president of estimating at Delta Construction Corporation. He has 40 years in the construction industry including 20 years at Granite Construction. He is in charge of overseeing Delta's estimating department and was previously the project estimating manager.

ISLAND INSURANCE

Island Insurance has appointed Dawn Hirano to the newly created position of human resources manager. Hirano previously held the position of human resources specialist. Island Insurance is the state's largest locally owned and managed property and casualty insurance carrier.

ALTRES HR

ALTRES HR has promoted Debbie Padello to director of HR and client services. Previously director of HR services, Padello joined ALTRES HR in 2001. She has more than 13 years of experience in HR and management. ALTRES HR is Hawai'i's leading provider of integrated human resources, payroll, workers' compensation and employee benefit services.

ALLIANCE OF PROFESSIONAL TATTOOISTS

Peggy Sucher, cosmetic tattooist at Skin Deep Tattoo Waikiki, was recently elected to the Board of Directors for The Alliance of Professional Tattooists. Sucher also is a health instructor and lecturer for the APT and for the National Tattoo Association.

REFERRAL INSTITUTE OF HAWAII

The Referral Institute of Hawaii has named Ric Cornell a certified trainer for the company. He will be responsible for conducting training programs throughout the state on building business owners' and sales professionals' business through referrals.
