Sports, healthy foods and fitness, pets. These and other topics of interest are part of the Great Aloha Run Sports, Health & Fitness Expo — building up to Monday's run — that continues through tomorrow. Choose among six zones:

  • Keiki Fun Zone, which includes a Sony Hawaii entertainment center, "Wheel of Fortune" giveaways, playhouse and other activities.

  • Action Sports Zone: Egan Inoue's The Studio self-defense workshops, triathlete seminars.

  • Pets & People Zone: Nozawa's Ark petting zoo, Hawaiian Humane Society activities, pet contests.

  • Healthy Foods & Wellness Zone: healthy-food court, cooking demos, health screenings.

  • Leisure & Ocean Sports Zone: golf-swing analyses, "Minigolf2U" tournament.

  • Financial Fitness Zone: investment services, loan and mortgage information.

There's also the Keiki Great Aloha Run and Circus Party, beginning at 8 a.m. today. Cheer on your youngsters (late registration is from 7 to 8:15 a.m.; $18 per child, $5 for accompanying adult) as they traverse a two-mile course and then finish with a party of food, magicians, pony rides, inflatable rides and entertainment.

Haven't signed up for Monday's run? Your last chance is at the expo. It's $40 for adults for untimed entries, $45 for timed; $20 for kids 5 to 12 and seniors 65 and older, untimed; $25 for timed.

The Advertiser is an expo sponsor.
