The state tax office will hold the first of a series of tax workshops on Kaua'i on Aug. 10, covering updates on tax law and other matters.

There is a fee for the workshops; it includes breakfast and all materials.

Sessions run 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. They are: Aug. 10 at the Kauai Beach Resort, Aug. 13 at the Royal Kona Resort, Aug. 14 at Hawai'i Community College's Man'ono Campus in Hilo, Aug. 22 at the Pacific Beach Hotel in Honolulu, and Aug. 24 at the Maui Beach Hotel.
