Motorists should expect delays on Hualalai Road this week as a Department of Public Works crew repaves a section of the roadway.

The resurfacing project begins 100 yards below the Hualalai Road and Kuakini Highway intersection, and ends outside the Regency at Hualalai.

Personnel and equipment will be working in the area from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The work should be completed Friday.

Only one lane will be open, and motorists are advised to use an alternative route during this time.
