The EKO Compost site on Pulehu Road is filled to capacity with green waste, and the county is offering free mulch for use in gardening and agriculture.

The product is available on a first-come, first-served basis from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on other days.

Free assistance will be provided to load the mulch into trucks.

No advance arrangements are required.
