As a freshman at Kaimuki, forward Accer Alvarado-Rodrigues has already established himself as one of the top goal-scorers in the league.

Alvarado-Rodrigues tied for second in the league by scoring 12 of his team's 14 goals and was honored as the O'ahu Interscholastic Association East Player of the Year.

"He has the talent," Roosevelt coach Ed Ota said.

Alvarado-Rodrigues is joined on the first-team by teammate Riki Nozawa, a defender.

East champ Roosevelt placed midfielder Ryan Pena and defender Dean Kurihara. Moanalua also had two on the first team in forward Rayden Tsutsui, who led the division with 16 goals, and goalkeeper Bryan Fujiwara.

Kalani placed three members on the first team: forward Carter Kam, midfielder Danny Higa and defender Dylan Taschner.

Kalaheo midfielder Tino Smiley, Castle midfielder Blayne Muraoka and Kaiser defender Kyle Niiro round out the first team.

Higa, Niiro and Kam were named to the first team for the second straight time.

Roosevelt's Ota was named the Coach of the Year after leading the Rough Riders to the East title.
