Hawaiian kupuna will gather at the King Kamehameha Hotel for "Healing in Paradise," a series of day-long workshops May 24-27 on Hawaiian healing, values and culture.

Classes will include lomi lomi, or traditional Hawaiian spiritual massage; la'au lapa'au, healing with medicinal plants; ho'opono pono ke ala, making right more right — the path; oli or chant; protocol; and 'olelo, or language.

The gathering is presented by 'Aina Me Kalani, a non-profit organization for the perpetuation of Hawaiian healing and cultural practices.
