From fun aprons to simple babydoll tops, Hawai'i-raised, New York-based Lornnie Louie makes lingerie versatile. Mixing playful patterns with delicate, luxurious and vintage fabrics, Louie's collection of high-end underthings are a sophisticated way to feel sexy. Her designs are washed with a special finish to create a softer feel. The lingerie's balance of big-city trends with Island influences reflect Louie's local-girl roots. The Fashion Institute of Technology graduate went on to design for American Rag, DDC Lab and Calvin Klein and now works as a freelance design consultant, in addition to creating her pretty panties. In the works: her first ready-to-wear line. www.lornnielouie.com.

THEY ARE A CAMERA
Longtime (in blog years) Honolulu nightlife documentrix Christa Wittmier has been point-and-shooting her way around the island and revealing her exploits on her blog, www.supercw.com. Now two new photo blogs give other perspectives of O'ahucrawling. Rising fashion designer Dan Weaver (his label is Cut n Sewn) puts out www.DanceOnPartyOn.com (these two lovelies are from his site) and graphic designer Chris Kalima of Airspace Workshop uploads www.DryFck.com. Between the three of them, it's incognito no more.
