"ER," 9 p.m., NBC. Kari Matchett seems to be TV's busiest actress. Last season, the talented Canadian was a regular on three series. The year before that, she starred as a doctor on "Invasion." Now she's doctoring again; she is brought in to help out, while other doctors prepare for their exams. Meanwhile, Sam and Abby are helping a young woman who seems to crave attention.

Also, the chief plans a men's night.
