The Skateboard Park at Kalama Park has been temporarily closed for ramp repairs, according to the county Department of Parks and Recreation. The facility will reopen Nov. 21.

Repairs will address damage to the "Skatelite" surface and metal flashing at ramp joints.

Parks Director Tamara Horcajo said the repairs are needed to make the facility safer.
