Eric Kaler named new security chief for Hawaiian Air wide experience

Hawaiian Airlines announced the appointment of Eric Kaler as the company's director of security.
Kaler will manage Hawaiian's ground and in-flight security requirements systemwide, including compliance with regulations and training programs established by the Transportation Security Administration.
"Hawaiian has an excellent security and safety program in place, and the diversified experience Eric Kaler has accrued in passenger and cargo operations ensures that we will continue to be a leader in this area," said Charles Nardello, Hawaiian's senior vice president of operations.
Kaler has more than 18 years of aviation and security experience in domestic and international markets, including management positions in customer service, flight operations, corporate security and cargo. He most recently served as the station manager and security director for Asia Pacific Airlines at Honolulu International Airport.
