Woman's death probed as murder

Honolulu police have opened a second-degree murder case in the death of a 49-year-old woman earlier this month.
Police said the woman and her husband were arguing in their 'Ewa Beach back yard on Sept. 10 when the woman fell and became unresponsive. She was taken to a local hospital and later died.
Initially, the case was classified as an unattended death. On Friday, however, police reclassified it as a second-degree murder. The woman's husband was arrested Friday and released pending further investigation, police said.

A 74-year-old man died yesterday after being pulled from the water at the Ihilani Resort and Spa lagoon at Ko Olina, authorities said.
Honolulu Fire Department and EMS personnel responded to the call at about 11 a.m.
