Dell Inc. Vice Chairman Donald Carty has rejoined the board of directors of Hawaiian Holdings, the parent company of Hawaiian Airlines.

Carty previously served on Hawaiian's board from July 2004 to February 2007, when he resigned for personal reasons. His past experience includes heading American Airlines as chairman and chief executive officer.

Carty rejoined Hawaiian's board last week and was seated on the board's audit and executive committees.
