The best Mother's Day gift is one that complements her lifestyle and her personal style. What would make her life easier or more fun? If she's plugged in, check out the pocket-sized Flip camcorder that records, edits and downloads DVD-quality video to the computer or TV, and uploads to YouTube or e-mail ($150 to $180 at Best Buy, Costco and Toys R Us). If she's low-tech, set her up with Sony's digital photo frame, which can display 500 images ($140, find retailer at www.sonystyle.com).

MAKE IT MINE
DO-IT-YOURSELF FASHION GETS ITS OWN MAGAZINE
