KAPA'A � The Kapa'a and Waimea swimming pools will be closed for a week, from May 12 to 16, to allow the Parks & Recreation aquatic section staff to attend an American Red Cross lifeguard and instructor training course.

The normal hours of operation at the Kapa'a swimming pool are: Tuesday to Friday � 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Saturday � 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Sunday � noon to 4:30 p.m. The normal hours of operation at the Waimea swimming pool are: Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 4:30 p.m.

Both swimming pools are closed on Mondays and holidays.
