HFD battling Central Oahu brushfire

Firefighters tonight were sent to douse a brushfire about a mile north of the Dole Pineapple Pavilion near Wahiawa.
Four engines and two tanker comapnies responded to the 7:10 p.m. alarm, said HFD spokesman Capt. Terry Seelig. The fire is east of Kamehameha Highway.
There were no threats to property and firefighters expected to have the fire out before long, Seelig said.
