Sudden Rush, the Big Island-originated group which blended Hawaiian chant with English lyrics and a frenetic hip-hop tempo, will perform at 7 p.m. this Friday at the Mai Tai Bar at Ala Moana Center. It's part of K5 The Home Team's "Heineken Hot Hawaiian Nights" series, to be carried live on Channel 5.

The group includes Don Ke'ala Kawa'auhau Jr., Shane K. Veincent and Caleb Richards.

The show will also repeat at 9:30 p.m. this Saturday and again at 8 p.m. Aug. 23 on K5.
