The Ko'olaupoko Hawaiian Civic Club will host a glassbottom boat cruise of Kane'ohe Bay at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Aug. 23 departing from He'eia Kea Boat Harbor.

The tour, open to the public, offers a unique perspective on the history and heritage of the nine ahupa'a that surround the bay, Kane'ohe, He'eia, Kahalu'u, Waihe'e, Ka'alaea, Waiahole, Waikane, Hakipu'u and Kualoa.

The club has partnered with Kane'ohe Bay Cruises to provide the tours as part of the civic club's educational program.
