Woman critically injured when truck backs over her near Keeaumoku Wal-Mart

A woman in her late 80s who was riding a motorized scooter was critically injured this morning when a semi-tractor-trailer rig backed over her near the Wal-Mart store on Ke'eaumoku Street, said Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city Emergency Services Department.
The truck was backing into the loading dock about 6:55 a.m. when the woman on the scooter was hit by the back of the truck and pushed against the loading dock, according to initial reports.
The woman was taken to The Queen's Medical Center for treatment of arm and torso injuries, police said
