Midge Blandamer has been named new director of nursing at Kahi Mohala Behavioral Health in 'Ewa.

Blandamer, an Alabama native, holds an R.N. and an M.S.N. and is board certified as a psychiatric-mental health clinical nurse specialist as an advanced chief nurse executive with the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Kahi Mohala provides specialized care and treatment for children, adolescents and adults. Founded in 1983 and fully accredited by the Joint Commission, it is Hawai'i's only free standing, not-for-profit, licensed medical center exclusively specializing in behavioral healthcare.

It is located at 91-2301 Old Fort Weaver Road.
