Actor Owen Wilson, who has filmed two features in Hawai'i, is relocating to the Islands, part time at least.

Wilson, 39, has decided to buy a home on Maui, influenced by a visit with good pal Woody Harrelson, who has adopted an environmentally friendly lifestyle, according to In Touch Weekly. Harrelson lives in a completely solar-powered, sustainable community complete with organic farming.

Wilson did "The Big Bounce" nearly entirely on O'ahu, and his film "You, Me and Dupree" featured some O'ahu locations.

LIFE IMITATES ART FOR DUCHOVNY

LOS ANGELES — David Duchovny has entered a rehabilitation facility for sex addiction.

In a statement released yesterday by his lawyer, Stanton Stein, the actor said he did so voluntarily, adding: "I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family."

Duchovny, 48, plays a sex-obsessed character on the Showtime series "Californication." The show's second season begins Sept. 28.

The actor appeared in the film "The X Files: I Want to Believe" earlier this summer. He has been married to actress Tea Leoni since 1997. They have two children.

RAP MOGUL POSTS $19,000 BAIL

LAS VEGAS — Marion "Suge" Knight has been released from a Las Vegas jail.

The founder of bankrupt Death Row Records posted $19,000 bail Wednesday and promised to appear in Las Vegas Justice Court on Sept. 26 on felony assault and drug charges.

Police arrested the hip-hop mogul on Wednesday morning after officers say they saw him beat his girlfriend while brandishing a knife in a parking lot near the Las Vegas Strip.

The woman was not stabbed but she was treated at a hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.

Police say Knight had the drugs Ecstasy and hydrocodone when he was arrested.

KID ROCK GIVES PROPS TO DETROIT

DETROIT — Kid Rock is showing his affection for Detroit with a new video for a song on his new platinum-selling CD "Rock 'N Roll Jesus."

The Detroit-area rocker and bandmates on Wednesday visited the Motown Historical Museum to shoot footage of them performing.

The video also will feature him driving a 1960s Lincoln Continental and visiting landmarks such as Tiger Stadium, the former home of the Detroit Tigers that is being demolished. Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert J. Ritchie, says he "really wanted to capture the heart and soul of Detroit."
