Pedestrian hit by motorcycle

A 21-year-old man from Wahiawa is in critical condition at The Queen's Medical Center after he was hit by a motorcycle in Waipahu on Friday night, police said.
The driver of the motorcycle was in serious condition.
Police said the motorcycle was west-bound on Uke'e Street near Kau Street when it hit the man at 6:21 p.m.
The motorcyclist, a 24-year-old man who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle, police said. His initial condition was critical but was upgraded to serious.
It appeared that speed was a factor, police said.
