LAS VEGAS — The Fox network is considering dropping its Saturday pregame show before Major League Baseball broadcasts next season.

"In this economic climate, like most businesses, we're being forced to review our options for reducing costs," Fox spokesman Lou D'Ermilio said Tuesday. "However, our final plans for MLB on Fox next season have not yet been reached."

The Web site insidesocal.com reported Tuesday that a decision to drop the pregame show already had been made and that broadcasters Kevin Kennedy and Jeanne Zelasko would be dropped by Fox. It said times for the Saturday games would shift from 3:55 p.m. EDT to 4:07 p.m.
