Police are investigating the theft of a safe containing an undisclosed amount of cash from a Waiau business early yesterday morning.

There have been no arrests in the burglary at Genki Sushi, 98-430 Kamehameha Highway. The burglary was reported at 1:19 a.m. after an interior alarm in the shop went off.
